VIVAnews - The first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Tangguh field, Papua, to South Korea had been completed this week.

"We have sent the LNG to Korea," said Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro in Jakarta on Friday, July 3.

According to Yusgiantoro, the previous plan was to ship the LNG to Fujian, China. However, since Fujian receiving terminal was not ready, the shipment which made of a cargo was diverted to South Korea.
